Once again, our school has celebrated Halloween. We have carried out a wide variety of activities, and our conversation assistant, as well as all the teachers, have actively collaborated in their implementation. And best of all, the students have had a great time.

Laura, our conversation assistant, has created a verbs contest. The objective of this activity has been that students review, learn and practise regular and irregular verbs.

In Preschool we have read the book 'The Ants Go Marching'. And in Primary he have read the book 'Mary Had a Little Lamb'.

GEOGRAPHICAL FEATURES
2nd level students have made bracelets with names of geographical features, such as beach, mountain or sea. What a good idea to learn them!!!
BIG BOOK: THERE WAS AN OLD LADY WHO SWALLOWED A FLY
In Preschool we have read the book 'There was an old lady who swallowed a fly'. This is an hilarious and interactive book that follows the story of an old lady who swallows a fly followed by five other animals. The kids have really enjoyed this book.

SLEEPING BEAUTY AND EXCALIBUR
On April 11, students from 5 years old to 6th grade went to the Casa de la Cultura to see two plays in English:
- Sleeping Beauty, for 5 years students, as well as 1st and 2nd grade of Primary Education.
- Excalibur. Two performances, one for the 3rd and 4th grade students, and another for the 5th and 6th grade.
The English teachers have been working on the dialogues, songs and vocabulary of the plays.
We would like to say thank you to the Mayor and the Culture Town Councillor of Colmenar for making it possible for our students to enjoy this fantastic activity.

The time has come to say goodbye to Laura, our beloved conversation assistant, who has been a very important person for our bilingual classes, since she has always been participatory and active in all her classes. Students and teachers will miss you very much. We wish you all the luck in the world.
